Wesleyan College - BA, Philosophy I also minored in French at Wesleyan College. I maintained a GPA of 3.5 during my time at Wesleyan, and a 4.0 in my major. I graduated in 2008, cum laude. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wesleyan College, particularly the academics as well as the lifelong friendships I found there, and received an education and a splendid outlook on life from there.
Experience
I have had nearly a decade of tutoring experience, off and on. I have tutored people in writing, philosophy and French, though my talents lie in other areas as well. I would like to tutor young people because I have always had a knack for instruction, and an enthusiasm for knowledge which I think is contagious. I attended a small liberal arts college where I majored in Philosophy and minored in French, along with taking a good many English and Art History courses along the way. I have been the Vice President of my college's Mortar Board, the founder and president of the Philosophy Club, editor of the newspaper, co-president of the French club and a member of Phi Sigma Iota (an honors society for college students of foreign languages).

Hobbies
I have a great interest in reading and writing, and my poems won awards at my college twice. I am currently working on a second draft of my novel, as well as a few short stories in between. Some of my favorite authors are Austen, Bronte, Dostoyevsky, Hardy and J.K. Rowling. I also am interested in history and, yes, video games. I have a beagle/basset mix and a betta, and love animals of all types.
