I am invested in the success of my students. I spent many years helping students at all ages and levels of ability, and I currently teach at the college level. I earned my doctoral degree in English from Northern Illinois University. I've had the opportunity to teach English at the college, high school, and middle school levels throughout my career. I excel at helping students improve their skills in all English language arts, and I also can assist students in preparation for standardized exams such as the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, GRE, PSAT, ACT, and others. I connect well with my students, and I communicate openly with them so I can understand their needs and address them to help them find success. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, and reading.
