I currently hold an M.A. in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College and a B.A. in English from Brenau University. I am also working on an M.A. in English (expected completion 2019) from Southern New Hampshire University. At Brenau University, I was a Southern States Athletic Conference All-Academic selection and Champion of Character while playing on the softball team.

Experience

I have been teaching college English classes since 2014. I have also been tutoring since 2008 when I started as a peer tutor in Brenau University's writing center. I also tutored at Emerson College and taught courses through the Institute of Reading Development. I have worked with students ranging in ages from kindergarten to adulthood on writing, reading, test prep, and study skills.

Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy reading fantasy and young adult fiction -- you will rarely find me without a book on hand. I am an avid follower of the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons, and my rescue dog, Gage, is my constant companion. My favorite color is purple, and I spend entirely too much time watching HGTV.
