EducationPre-Optometry at the University of Georgia
ExperienceTwo years of General Chemistry tutoring.
4.0 Chemistry GPA at the University of Georgia (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry).
I started tutoring General Chemistry while I was taking the first General Chemistry class. I found that I learned the subject better if I learned it first, then taught it to other students. Being able to teach a subject ensures that you have mastered that subject. I also found that I enjoyed tutoring, and that I was able to relate the material to other students as I would like it taught to me, on a level appropriate for an undergraduate.
I understand the difficulties students face when trying to learn chemistry. I understand the stresses involved with needing to get competitive grades to get into medical school, PA school, dental school, optometry school, nursing school, etc., but it is not impossible. It may seem overwhelming, but with the right guidance and frame of mind, anyone can be successful.
HobbiesMuch of my time is taken up by school, studying for school, and working to pay for school. As you can see, my education is very important to me. I love to read and be outdoors. I am also engaged to be married in October.

Eric got back to me right away and was very professional, organized and passionate about the subject. I was having a really hard time understanding the material, but Eric explained it in such a way that was very easy to understand. I would highly recommend him for anyone who needs a great chemistry tutor.
