I have been teaching for over 23 years in math, science, social studies, Language Arts, ESOL, and Spanish. I have tutored extensively for the past six years, and have a great deal of experience in tutoring struggling math students. I have been able to connect with them, by making math easier to understand and by making the process fun. I have been a home-based tutor for Gwinnett County Public Schools and have helped numerous students re-gain confidence and competence in math. I really enjoy seeing the proverbial "light bulb" go off in my students' faces when they finally begin to understand what was once a very confusing subject. I have taken many math classes over the years, and truly enjoy teaching and tutoring in Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
